We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of our international training program, held as part of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module, under the project number 101094100 — EECORE — ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH-UA-IBA / ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCHRSCH. This program focused on “Social Responsibility in Higher Education Institutions.”
The training sessions, conducted from June 20 to June 24, 2024, attracted 20 dedicated participants who engaged actively throughout the course. The sessions covered a range of topics vital to understanding and implementing social responsibility within higher education institutions, including:
- Transformation of University Missions: Addressing the evolution of university missions towards greater social responsibility.
- Institutional Leadership: Exploring the role of universities in global social responsibility rankings.
- Sustainability Reporting: Discussing the frameworks for sustainable development and social responsibility reporting.
- Strategic Management: Examining strategic approaches to managing social responsibility in universities.
- Impact Mechanisms: Understanding how universities’ social responsibility initiatives contribute to sustainable development.
- Case Monitoring: Analyzing case studies on the social responsibility efforts of various universities.
Led by Dr. Inna Khovrak, the training sessions were highly interactive, featuring lectures complemented by discussions, allowing participants to deeply explore each topic and share their insights and experiences.
The program culminated with participants presenting their projects, showcasing innovative approaches and strategies to enhance social responsibility in their respective institutions.
