Olena DIACHENKO serves in the project as senior expert/advisor/researcher and researcher / teacher.
Olena DIACHENKO holds a PhD in Economics from SNAU and is the Associate Professor of Economics and Entrepreneurship Department. Her experience of teaching and researching work is more than 10 years and she has around 60 publications.
In the project, the main topic for which Olena DIACHENKO is responsible is Social Entrepreneurship, because she perfectly corresponds to the ideal type of teacher for this course. The rationale for that is that, first, she possesses a theoretical apparatus: skills, techniques, and teaching experience of more than ten years and holds a PhD degree. Second, she is the founder and co-founder of several businesses, some of which are social in nature: co-owner of Sumy Technokorm Poultry Farm (2015), Founder of a dance fitness studio "DanceLife Studio" (2020) https://bit.ly/3K3d5TT and https://bit.ly/3LEhlKg, that is, she knows all the secrets, pitfalls, and business routines. Thirdly, Olena is a certified practising psychologist who works in Gestalt Therapy (a humanistic, holistic, person-centered form of psychotherapy that is focused on a person's present life and challenges rather than delving into past experiences). We believe that combining all those three aspects of Olena (1) Associate Professor with proven records of teaching experience and research on the subject; 2) business lady herself and 3) Gestalt Therapy tradition psychologist) makes for a unique personality with grounded knowledge, an active life position and deep compassion – the perfect blend for a Social Entrepreneurship professor.
Thus, in the EECORE project Olena DIACHENKO is responsible 1) for Educational Course for Master students “SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP” and also alongside Oleh PASKO and Inna KHOVRAK 2) participating in an advanced Certificate course for Master and PhD students “CSR/ RBC and SE”, and 3) together with Oleh PASKO in the training for owners, senior management and representatives of MSMEs “CSR/RBC for MSMEs and SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP”.
Olena DIACHENKO holds First certificate in English (B2 according to CEFR, certificate number 8356872) issued by Cambridge FCE test centre of Cambridge University (2002).
